M.SC (MEDICAL BIOTECHNOLOGY)

(1).Students are admitted to the M.Sc. programme on the basis of an All-India entrance examination conducted by Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU) and through MDU combined life science entrance exam. (2).Programme is sponsored by Department of Biotechnology (DBT) , Govt. of India. (3).Total intake of students in this programme is 25. (4).Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is offered to allow students to pursue subjects of their interests. (5).Programme places particular emphasis on practical learning and out-of-box thinking. (6).Emphasis on enhancing the communication and comprehensive skills. (7).Students are encouraged to go for Clinical Summer Training. (8).Hand-on experience for research work as ‘’dissertation’’ in final semester.
